The Silver Hairclip

Archeologist Leesa Coven discovers a hairclip in the ruins of a French villa. That night she is swept back to 18th century France where she becomes Maria von Richter, an Austrian aristocrat betrothed to Count Philippe de Maurier but secretly having an affair with his brother François.

Leesa’s idyllic new life at Château de Chambord is shattered when she meets Maximilien de Robespierre, the infamous architect of the French Revolution. He discovers her affair with François and demands sex in exchange for his silence. When the French Revolution strikes, François fakes Leesa’s death and steals her away from Philippe.

Unable to forgive François’ betrayal nor forget Robespierre’ s blackmail sex, Leesa flees France and returns to the 21st century.

Years later, she finds a note hidden in a packet of archived letters pleading for her to help save Philippe from the guillotine. Leesa returns to France during the Reign of Terror and confronts Robespierre in a desperate bid to save the two men she loves.
