Shirley Bear Fedorak has always been passionate about storytelling and began writing when she was a little girl growing up on a farm in southern Saskatchewan, Canada. She has traveled extensively and lived in Canada, Egypt, Mexico, Lebanon, Malaysia, and Thailand. She has three grown children and two adorable granddaughters, and currently lives in Phuket, Thailand with her husband, Robert.
Shirley Bear Fedorak taught anthropology and archaeology at the University of Saskatchewan for many years, and is the author of numerous academic books, including the bestselling Anthropology Matters. She is now focusing on a career in genre fiction, beginning with the seven-book post-apocalyptic climate survival series, Rainbow Warriors and the YA dystopian Farmcorp trilogy. She has moved into adult speculative fiction with Whispering Walls, an adult paranormal suspense series, the Trace Riker Adventures, a post-apocalyptic adventure series, and most recently, the time travel historical romance/adventure series, The Silver Hairclip. She has many more stories planned for the coming years.
