Cat is a high school sophomore prone to daydreaming. While walking home from choir rehearsal, Cat’s life is upended when she experiences a terrifying vision. At first she is disoriented and doesn’t know if it really happened or if it was just a powerful daydream. As the story progresses, Cat confides in her best friend and enlists the help of local police. As she does so, she becomes the target of the fugitive on the run for murder.
