The Quest of the Four Chiefs for the Book of Heaven

Before Idaho’s statehood, before the flight of the Nez Perce, even before the Civil War, the rumor of a sacred book that held the words of the Creator reached the tribes of the inland Pacific Northwest. The Nez Perce and Flathead tribes made the trek from Clearwater Valley, Idaho, to the St. Louis office of General Clark, who led the expedition with Merriweather Lewis 25 years prior. 
The four chiefs heard of the sacred book, the Book of Heaven: the Holy Bible. 
This is the story of their quest for their people, seeking after the Creator and how to worship Him.
