the Adventures of Jimmy Crikey: Tangled!

Jimmy Crikey is the alien orphan whose Ambassador parents from the star world of Attalia died when they were overtaken by Earth’s coughs and colds, to which they had no immunity. Jimmy was bullied because he looked different, until he found Roombelow, where his big, kind heart expanded and made him a hero. He chose to make his home on Earth in the subterranean wonderworld of Roombelow. Among his circle of friends were the four witch guardians of Earth’s realms and Lord Oron the Weatherman, who patrolled the skies in his cloud.  

Jimmy’s closest and best friend, Annison, has forgotten about her previous life as a Mermite. Her memory has been wiped. That was the price the supernatural Master extracted for saving her life and replacing her tail and fins with legs.

Jimmy’s computer, XRU, advised that it could be possible to restore Annison’s memory in the medical centre on his home planet of Attalia. But their journey to get there in Jimmy’s starship, SR3, goes wildly wrong.

XRU, Jimmy’s navigator and AI companion, exits a wormhole in a strange, unknown area of the cosmos. They are lost in space until XRU unravels the mystery and brings starship SR3 home to Attalia.

There is double the trouble when they discover that an interstellar force is punching holes in the fabric of space with energetic subatomic particles, threatening to destroy Planet Helios and its millions of Helians.

Can Jimmy repair the cosmic imbalance emanating from a rogue star and save the Helians and the Attalians?

What will become of his previously close friendship with Annison if she recovers her memory? Will she revert to being a water-dwelling Mermite, with no knowledge of her previously blossoming love for Jimmy?
