Our Blue Orange

 'Our Blue Orange’ is an off earth down to earth Sci Fi novel set against a political backdrop laced with dry humour. It took the author AR Merrydew eight years to complete.

 The main protagonist, an inventor named Godfrey Davis, arrives at the ministry one Monday morning and has his first experience of the new phenomenon. There was something wrong with the aging android fleet that serve the colony. Since when did they ever have names?

The president’s visit to his office later that morning gives credence to his earlier experience in the foyer, and somehow his long deceased father is now implicated. As Godfrey’s week spirals out of control the future of the colony is in jeopardy, and it seems it is all because of him. He should never have left his latest piece of technology unattended.

If he could find his father’s secret invention and turn back the clock then he could redeem himself and save their society. But the past is about to collide with the present and the future now seems very uncertain indeed.
