Eggbert, the Big Fat Sugar Cat

Did you know that they call cats with diabetes "sugar cats"?

This is a true story about the author's real cat Eggbert, who, when adopted, weighed upwards of 26 pounds and was diagnosed with diabetes.

The rhyming children's book is a heartwarming tale of how the family discovered the problem, then took steps to fix it successfully.

Eggbert subsequently went on to live a happy, healthy life.
