Newlyweds Aria and Jared Syn set sail on what should be the perfect Caribbean honeymoon—but paradise turns to hell when their luxury yacht explodes in the middle of the ocean. Adrift with another couple, Kevin and Marlene Fulton, the group barely survives before washing ashore on an uncharted island. Their relief is short-lived when they meet Jerome Khalid, a charismatic but unsettling man who claims to own the island. As her friends’ health deteriorates, Aria searches for an antidote hidden deep beneath the villa, with the help of Aldane—while the island itself begins to stir with supernatural energy, calling her by name.

Khalid’s obsession with Aria grows until it fractures his sanity. When his cult allies arrive to witness the ritual, Aldane helps Aria fight back, but Khalid’s power—fueled by ancient magic—seems unstoppable. In a climactic confrontation in an amphitheater beneath a statue of Baphomet, Khalid murders Aldane with a cursed blade attached to the cane he is in constant possession of, only to see Aria seize it and turn the weapon on him. As she strikes, he and his cult disintegrate into a burst of blood, breaking the island’s hold.

But victory comes at a cost. The island erupts, collapsing in fire and molten earth as Aria leads the survivors to a waiting helicopter. They barely escape as Avalon implodes behind them, burning into the sea.

Six months later, in Los Angeles, Aria, Jared, Kevin, and Marlene reunite for lunch—trying to reclaim normal life. Then Aria glimpses a man across the street: Khalid, dressed in pale linen, smiling, alive. She blinks—and he’s gone.
