The biggest thing to realize is that my novels and children’s books reflect the intersection of key drivers in my life: the search for meaning; my thirsting curiosity about a spiritual world that surrounds us, yet remains hidden to most of the Western world; the need for laughter to lubricate the often painful grinding of the Universe’s gears; and an abiding sense that we are here on this planet to help each other. That we each have been given two arms for a reason: one to reach for assistance as we make our climb, the second to reach back and help the next guy in line.
The novel I'm submitting today marks the first novel of a trilogy, whose plotlines touch upon the existence of a school of self-development known as The Seekers For Truth.
Aside from being great fun to read, and an adventure novel as well as a spiritual odyssey, "Or So It Seems" offers its readers a gateway to a world more spiritual and metaphysical than typically served up in today’s popular literature. As the first book in my Seekers For Truth series, "Or So It Seems" reveals a school of self-development as seen through the implementation of its highly secretive practices and knowledge. The Seekers For Truth was imported to America from Europe and the Far East. As was the school upon which The Seekers For Truth was originally modeled.
I come to my work as a novelist after a full career as a creative ad guy working in Boston, where I developed the famous "Who But W.B. Mason!" brand.
