Eric Woods

A writer since grade school, Eric Woods resides in Springfield, Illinois and finally published his first novel in 2018. Today he has nine published novels, two novellas, and one collection of horror short stories co-written with author Kerri Jane. In 2024, Eric released the first two novels of a trilogy. You can order both – STOKEBRIDGE and the prequel, STOKEBRIDGE 1975, in eBook, audiobook, and SIGNED paperback! The trilogy recently concluded with STOK3BRIDGE: Extinction, now available in paperback and eBook!

Eric earned a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in communication from the University of Illinois Springfield. He served as a collegiate speech and debate coach for seven years and has been a local freelance writer since 2005. As an actor, Eric appeared in the award-winning independent horror film Holes in the Sky: The Sean Miller Story. He also appears in the new 2025 indie film, Final Days: Tales from the End Times.
