I live in Goshen, Ohio, and I have written and published three children’s books. Pitching for Success: Character Lessons, the Joe Nuxhall Way, depicts a Little League pitcher struggling with his confidence and concerned about his teammates turning against him. Riley’s Winning Catch: Good Character Prevails is the author's second book promoting character education to youth. Riley is a teenage girl who loves softball and wishes to play on a team. She is afraid of being teased and bullied by teammates because her skills aren’t as good as theirs. Riley has Down syndrome. He enjoys giving character presentations in elementary classrooms using his books.

Switching genres, Bobby Button Goes to School is his first picture book for children. Bobby is an animated button on a young girl’s favorite shirt. He is planning a whole series of Bobby Button adventures.

He is a past board member and treasurer of the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League. Besides writing, he enjoys watching baseball, softball, collegiate, and pro football. I have spent several years researching my family on Ancestry and my partner, Karen’s, family. I enjoy spending time with my family, Karen, and our eight grandchildren.
